Create Virtual Hard drive in Windows 7

Virual Hard-drive is the .VHD file which you can mount as physical drive in 


Windows 7. You can create a virtual hard drive... 

With This feature is very useful in security manner also because you mount your 

virtual drive at time of your work & then unmount & the volume will be not 

shown in my computer & it will be secure to you to save important data...

To create Virtual Hard-disk in windows 7 follow this steps


Right click my computer icon & select Manage 

Click on Disk Management under Storage

Under Actions click on More Action and click on Create VHD






Specify Location and Virtual hard disk size and leave it in Fixed

size as Recommended. 


Click OK will create a virtual drive without any driver letter or file format

Right click on new disk & select Initialize Disk

Then again right click & select New simple volume

& follow the instructions 

That's it...
