How to Customize Ms-office Setup


We are known about automated windows operating system 


installation with answer file & there is also you can create answer 


file for MS-office setup , and that also supports following features.

Install location & organisation name

Additional network sources

Licensing & user interface 


Remove previous installation


Add installation & run programs 


Office security settings 


Modify security settings


Modify user settings 


Set feature installation state


Additional content :-


Add files, Remove files, Add registry entries, Remove registry 


entries, Configure shortcuts...


Outlook Options :-


Outlook profile, Specifying Exchange server settings, Add accounts,


Remove accounts & export settings, Specify send/receive group

Ok let's Start Customizing 


Go to RUN



Type CMD 


Navigate to your setup folder < by using cd command >


In this case my office setup folder at c:\





















after navigating to your MS-office setup folder type the following command


setup.exe /admin <press enter>


Now it will open MS-office Customization Tool
















then it will ask you for:- 


Create a new setup customization file 


Modify existing Customization file

Click on Create a new setup customization file 


Now you will see so many options which are mentioned above 


OK now you Customize your setup as per your requirements & save


the file into updates folder located in MS-office setup folder.
