How to allow local user group to login on domain controller

If you had try to log in on Domain controller with domain user 

account then you will not able log in & you will get the error :-

You can not log on because  the method you are using is not 

allowed on this computer. Please see your network 

administrator for more detail. 









So Let's Fix It

First go to Group Policy Management

Navigate to 

Forest>Domain>Group Policy Object

At right side you will see Default Domain Controller Policy

Right click it & select Edit 




















now it will open Group Policy Management editor

now navigate to 

Computer Configuration>Policies>Windows Settings>Security 

Settings>Local Policies>User Rights Assignment 


Now at right side you will see Allow Logon Locally

double click it & then Click on Add User or Group

Now click on browse & add your Desire Group or user 

(But always keep in mind this creates a Security hole)

After adding user or group close add windows & goto run & type 

the following Command

gpupdate /force <press enter>

That's it : You have done
